I am a Clinical Professor in the Educational Technology Program at the College of Education, University of Florida. I currently coordinate the online Master of Education in Educational Technology. I led the development and implementation of the Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction (Specialization in Educational Technology) at the University of Florida from 2010-2024. I am lucky to be part of a team of enthusiastic, creative, and positive professionals.

My research encompasses three major areas. I study excellence in online education, with a focus on online pedagogy and online program quality. A connected area of research is online doctoral education and online supervision/mentoring. Third, I explore technology integration in higher education, recently focusing on Generative AI integration in teaching, research and instructional design. My teaching and collaboration with educators across the world has taught me that technology, if used thoughtfully, can greatly enhance the learning experience and motivate learners. I enjoy learning from my graduate students and their research experiences.
